I love to hear peoples "story".

Here's mine.

As a college student at FSU, health and fitness became a passion for me. With a major in Health Education, I spent my free time at the student rec center teaching classes and loving it! After college, I went right to work. I began in the City of Orlando Wellness program and went on to work on cruise ships, in a university setting, and even on a military base doing what I loved - teaching on wellness topics and helping employees be the best version of themselves. After becoming a mom, I continued to teach and train, and went on to earn a masters in Exercise Science and the University of Central Florida in Orlando.

While studying at UCF, my area of focus was corporate wellness and exercise and aging. My message became get outdoors and get active! We were created to move...whatever your limitations or your schedule, we can all manaage 30 minutes of physical activity a day, so find something you love, and do it!

I love the outdoors and yoga, so I found a way to blend those in the classes I teach in Orlandos's only floating yoga studio. I also love feeling great and helping others do the same.Exercise and nutrition have the potential to help you maximize every day and do the things you love better and longer. My personal fitness plan is constantly evolving with my family life. I tend to work out and train clients in the mornings, homeschool mid-day, and our evenings are spent.... active and outdoors!

My husband Stig, who I met while working for Norwgain Cruise Lines, is my very own handsome viking import. He now works in hospitality at Walt Disney World in Orlando. My oldest son Taylor enjoys swimming, tennis, scouting, reading and playing the tuba. He is pretty chill and it can be a challenge to keep him active. My younger son Toby, never stops moving and enjoys everything that does not require him to be still. He is most passionate about watersports. As a family, we really enjoy church actvities, lake time and camping.

My hope is that you may be inspired, motivated, and encouraged to make small, sustainable changes toward a healthy life.
